摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform high speed recording by measuring the time length from the time when a line before a line to be printed has started printing to the time when said line to be printed starts printing, and increasing the electric quantity applied to the heating resistor in proportion to the extension of said time length. CONSTITUTION:When a picture signal S is imputted in a decoder 71, it is converted into the original signal for every one line, and the result is transferred to a buffer memory 72. Said picture signal is stored in a serial-parallel converting register 78 based on the printing speed of a recording part from the buffer memory 72. The number of the picture signals which are concurrently printed are latched by a latch circuit 79, and a switching circuit 77 is operated. Meanwhile, the processing state of the decoder 71 is transmitted to a record control part 73, and the transfer of the picture signal from the buffer memory 72 to the serial-parallel converting register 78 and the latch timing of the latch circuit 79 are controlled. By using high frequency pulses HFP, the width of the printing pulse given to a driving circuit 76 is controlled by a frequency divider 74-1, a driving period counter 74-2, a printing time setting circuit 74-3, and a printing time selecting circuit 74-4.
