<p>PURPOSE:To put an automatic stop mechanism in operation at a tape end during high-speed running operation, by simplifying handling parts of the automatic stop mechanism for pause and stop operation by providing a control member which controls an automatic stop device to place in a specific state. CONSTITUTION:A control member forces a detection member in an automatic stop device to turn off the automatic stop device when a pause operation mechanism is in operation, and releases the forcible operation on said detection member without reference to the state of the pause operation mechanism, when a tape high-speed feed operation mechanism is in operation, to return the automatic stop device to a normal state. Then, operation members 12-17 for stop, rewind, recording, playback, fast-forward, and pause modes for example, are provided so that they can slide as shown by an arrow, and an automatic stop mechanism assembly 29 and a displacing mechanism 400 driven by a sub-flywheel 30 are provided for said control.</p> |
