PURPOSE:To form an undercoating film with excellent uniformity and close adhesiveness by a method wherein a silicon steel plate is subjected to decarburization and annealing and, thereafter, a surface of the steel plate is ground to a specific thickness and, after an annealing separating agent is coated thereon, final high temp annealing is carried out. CONSTITUTION:After a steel plate is subjected to decarburization and annealing, mainly, a FeO component of a thin oxide film formed on an uppermost layer thereof is removed by grinding or pickling to a thickness of about 0.025-0.5g/m<2> per side surface of the surface of the steel plate and unequality of every coil or in a coil width direction is corrected to equalize a surface layer. Subsequently, as an annealing separating agent, MgO or the like is coated thereon and, thereafter, high temp annealing is carried out. Thereby, a product yield or commodity value can be enhanced. |
