PURPOSE:To make it possible to record by low energy and to obtain the recording material which is hard to corrode, by providing a recording layer including thermosetting protein chemically modified in an unbridged mode on a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of thermosetting protein e.g. albumin, soybean protein (main content is globulin) which is chemically modified by the unbridged mode is mixed with other thermosetting material and the like depending on the case, dissolved or emulsified and dispersed in water and the like, applied on the supporting body, and dried. Thus the recording layer is formed. When the thermosetting protein is chemically modified in the unbridged mode, chemicals such as acylating agent, cyanates, iso(thio) cyanates, amidinizing agent, guanidinizing agent, sulfonyl halide and ester sulfonate, alkylizing agent, estelizing agent, amidizing agent, reducing agent, and oxidizing agent and the like. In comparison with the reducing material employing conventional proteins, this material becomes unsoluble at the low energy. Furthermore, this material has the advantage that it is hard to corrode in comparison with the conventional thermosetting proteins. |
