<p>The oven consists of a lower half (1) which is generally hemispherical and has a supporting flange (1a) resting and brickwork support structures (5). The lower half contains a horizontal fire grille (4) with an ash box (6) and a fuel loading door (8). A circular sole plate (3) is supported across the top of the lower half (1) and rests on radial fins (1d) leaving a clearance (1f) around the periphery. The top cover (2) rests on the sole plate (3) and a series of curved gas passages (2c) complete the flue-way between the lower and the upper halves. An enclosure (2a) with a charging door forms the oven. The flue gases flow into the discharge duct (2b).</p> |
