<p>The absorbent pad is for feminine hygiene, having a support of stocking material. It is in the form of a disposable slip, with an integral absorbent layer (5) in the step portion (4). The slip can be of elastic fibre material, and the layer can be arranged to taper at the ends and edges, and covered on the underside with a sheet (7) of impermeable material. Where the slip includes leg sections, these can also have absorbent zones on the inside, or the absorbent layer can be extended to their insides.</p> |
