PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a vehicle by providing a step to an inner cylinder in a hydraulic shock absorber of a semi-air-suspension of a two-wheeled vehicle in order to utilize effectively thus created space, thereby increasing the load allotment ratio to a metal spring. CONSTITUTION:The external diameter D1 of an inner cylinder 1, is reduced to D2 (D1>D2) at its upper portion. One end of a coil spring 6 is attached to thus created shoulder or stepped part. The other end of the coil 6 is attached to the end of an outer cylinder 7. With thus provided shoulder part, the diameter of a wire of a coil spring (metal spring) 6 can be increased, without increasing the outer diameter of the outer cylinder 7. Thus allowing the coil spring 6 to work safety with a larger load. Accordingly, the safety of the vehicle can be maintained despite the possible failure in the air system. |
