PURPOSE:To make sure stable floating of a floating head slider, by the constitution in that a frame construction is formed with two flexible fingers extended from a fixed piece and a flexible tlateral frame tying these tips and the floating head slider is fixed in the frame construction. CONSTITUTION:The joint between the slider and the support mechanism is almost made coincident to the center of gravity of the slider to keep stable floating, and slider 5 is bonded for the center tongue 11 to a back groove 12 provided at the back so that a weight projection 9 is located at the center of gravity of the slider 5. The weight caused with a weight elastic part 7 is exerted to a weight projection 9 through a weight bar 8. With this constitution, regardless of the setting in the floating gap direction of the slider 5 for the spacer 2, the center tongue 11 is made parallel to the disc plane. |
