PURPOSE:To improve the warkability and the leak-proof of a battery, by providing a sticky adhesive film on periphery of both corners of the open upper inside surface and a positive ring, and fixing peripheries of a separator and an electrolyte impregnating material with the film. CONSTITUTION:A separator and an electrolyte impregnating material are simultaneously pressed and fixed when a case 1 and positive compound pellet 2 are press-remolded. An adhesive 9, which is of anti-electrolyte characteristics, excellent fitness with metal, maintaining film form, and sticky and comprising synthetic resin, synthetic rubber, or asphalt, is spread on the corner periphery formed by the case 1 and positive ring 8 excepting the open upper inside surface 1a of the case 1 containing the positive compound and upper internal periphery 8a of projection of the positive ring 8. Then a separator 3 and an impregnating material are inserted into the positive compound containing case 1 and placed on the positive ring, when the adhesive bonds both materials to fix stably. Thus the warkability and leak-proof characteristics can be improved. |
