PURPOSE:To make it possible to retain the stabilized cell performance for a long time by making the particle size of fine powder used in a fuel electrode side sintered layer larger than that of fine powder used in an oxidizing agent electrode side sintered layer. CONSTITUTION:The particle size of fine powder used in a fuel electrode side sintered layer 1a is made larger than that of fine powder used in an oxidizing agent electrode side sintered layer 1b. Where the pore size of the fuel electrode side sintered layer 1a is made larger than that of the oxidizing agent electrode side sintered layer 1b, the wetting speed by electrolyte of the fuel electrode side sintered layer 1a is increased, and the travel speed of the electrolyte reserved in a fuel electrode 2 toward the fuel electrode side sintered layer 1a is also increased. Where the pore size of the oxidizing agent electrode side sintered layer 1b is made smaller than that of the fuel electrode side sintered layer 1a, the electrolyte retention in the oxidizing agent electrode side sintered layer 1b is increased. Thereby, a sufficient amount of electrolyte can exist in an electrolyte matrix 1 for a long time. |
