PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous setting of a calculation made for displaying a set mode, by operating a specific key prior to the start of arithmetic. CONSTITUTION:For example, mode switches 13 and 14 for rounding and calculation down to the 2nd digit below the decimal point are set. In this case, when a mode detection signal 1a goes up to a high level, the rounding-mode switch 13 is on, the output of an AND gate 5 is high, and that of an OR gate 8 is also high. This high-level signal serves as the control signal 1e of a controller 1, which detects the rounding calculation mode being selected. The mode detection signal 1b is generated successively and the mode switch 14 for the calculation down to the 2nd digit below the decimal point is on, so an AND gate 6 and an OR gate 8 both generate highlevel outputs to generate the high-level control signal 1e, so that the controller 1 detects the mode of the calculation down to the 2nd digit below the decimal point being detected. |
