PURPOSE:To permit insertion of a ladle deeply into a crucible particularly above a crucible by connecting an oscillating arm pivotally to the horizontal shaft of a base and a ladle support arm supported pivotally to the leading end thereof specifically. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating arm 1 pivotally supported to a horizontal shaft 5 supported to a base 3 is oscillated by a driving source 7, and a ladle support arm 2 supported pivotally at the leading end thereof moves over an endless chain 10 of which a stationary sprocket 9 is held stopped on the shaft 5 by a weight 13 and which is put on by a root part sprocket 12 of a diameter larger than that of said sprocket. Thereby, the arm 2 is oscillated to the outer side with respect to the oscillation angle of the arm 1 to give a large stroke to a ladle 23. When the arm 1 turns in such a way that the ladle 23 comes approximately to over the crucible 25, this pin 25 engages to the weight 13 and further the weight 13 is lifted by its left- ward turning. Thereafter, the sprocket 12 turns proportion to the oscillating angle of the arm 1, and the sprocket 9 cannot move on the chain 10, so that the arm 2 moves by maintaining the oscillation angle alpha, and is inserted deeply into the crucible 25. |
