The trunking is mfd. from anodised extruded aluminium and is bolted to the walls. An upper chamber contains fluorescent lamp tubes which provide indirect lighting through an upper translucent cover. Below the lamp chamber an intermediate chamber contains light current communications and entertainment cabling. The heavy current cables are in the bottom chamber. A bolted cover protects the light and heavy cabling. The front of the lighting compartment is an integral part of the extrusion and carries brackets for medical gas piping. A clip over cover provides the architectural facing for the trunking.
