PURPOSE:To obtain perovskite raw material fine powder having readily sintering properties and improved uniformity, by bringing each solution of a compound containing constituent component elements for perovskite type structural compound into contact with a precipitation forming solution and subjecting the formed precipitate-containing slurry to hydrothermal treatment. CONSTITUTION:In producing raw material powder of a perovskite type structural compound shown by the formula or a solid solution thereof, each solution and/or each suspension of a compound containing the constituent component element is brought into contact with a precipitation forming solution and precipitate of each component is formed gradually and stepwise. Then the precipitate- containing slurry is adjusted to pH >=8.0, subjected to hydrothermal treatment at 130-300 deg.C to give the aimed raw material powder. In the formula, A is Pb, Ba, Sr or Ca; B is Mg, Zn, Ni, Co, Cu, Fe or Mn; a, b, c and d are values determined by valences of each element; x and y are mol%; x+Y=100. Ammonia, ammonium carbonate, oxalate, amine, etc., may be cited as the precipitation forming solution, which is readily removed from the constituent component. |
