PURPOSE:To perform a heat and pressure molding in a slot on the preimpregnation type insulating layer against ground and to increase the productivity for the subject stator coil by a method wherein a thermo-foaming liner is inserted between the rows of multirow-winding stator coil and the liner is foamed by heating after it was inserted. CONSTITUTION:In the multirow winding stator coil 4' wherein the preimpregnation type lumped mica is used in the insulating layer against ground 2, a preimpregnation type interrow liner 10, having the thermal foaming property, is inserted between rows of an insulated strand 1. Then, after this stator coil 4' has been inserted in the slot of a stator dore 5 in the state of preimpregnation type, a cover plate 11 is placed on the aperture section of the slot and the coil 4' is heated up by applying a current. Then, the interrow liner 10 is foamed by heat and with the generated expanding pressure, the insulating layer against ground 2, consisting of the preimpregnation type lumped mica, can be heat and pressure molded. Through these procedures, the pressure molding process of the coil can be simplified and the productivity thereof can also be improved. |
