PURPOSE:To increase the thermal efficiency of the captioned apparatus by a method wherein a heat source for the circulation type bath boiler is introduced into a heat exchange casing mounted in hot water stored in a heat accumulation tank. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchange chamber 6 into which boiling water 5 in the circulation type bath boiler 4 is introduced is provided within the heat-insulating heat exchanger casing 3 disposed in the hot water 1 in the heat accumulation tank 2 and a heat exchange pipe 14 including an upper section and a lower section is provided within the heat exchange chamber 6 in such a manner that one end of the pipe 14 is in communication with a conduit for pressurized water such as service water and the other end is in communication with a hot water supply pipe 16. Further, a float type switching valve 27 which operates due to the vertical displacement of the level 18 of the stored hot water 1 in the heat accumulation tank 2 is provided so that a supply of water into a branch conduit 25 is controlled and flow stop switches 34 and 35 are provided in the intermediate portion 32 of the hot water supply pipe 16 and in a burner 33 for the bath boiler 4, respectively, so that the combustion of the burner is controlled. Consequently, water is heated cyclically within the stored hot water 1 and the bath boiler 4 to thereby eliminate wasted heat. |
