PURPOSE:To reduce testing time by providing a signal transmission part for transmitting test signals selectively to a signal receiving part and a control part making the core position for transmitting the test signal variable each time when the control signal is sent from the transmission part, in wiring testing of a multicore cable. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 2 for the purpose of test is provided at one end of a multicore cable 1, and a receiver 3 is connected at the other end. A test cable 4 is connected between the transmitter 2 and the receiver 3. In the transmitter 2, a step signal is transmitted to the receiver 3 through the cable 4, and while the position of the cores of the cable 1 is changed at every transmission of this step signal, the test signal fed from the receiver 3 is checked with display devices 221-22n. In this way, the wiring condition of the cores 11-1n of the cable 1 is tested easily quickly and simply by arranging test personal on the transmitter 2 side. |
