<p>A flat knitting machine has a patterning mechanism which includes selector sinkers 15 with butts 18 which can be adjusted to vary the pattern, each such butt being constituted by an element slidable in the appropriate needle trick, bearing against the upper side of the shank 15.3 of the related sinker, and being held in its adjusted position by needle bars 19 appropriately positioned on the needle bed. <IMAGE></p> |
