The stringed musical instrument has a trapezoidal body (1) on which are two sets of strings, with adjustable tension. The first set (2) is placed longitudinally and the second (3) diagonally. The first set of harmonic strings rests on two sets of pegs (10a,10b) at the end of the case and a central bridge (7), one third of the way along. This spans the accompanying set of strings. The choice of bridge position also allows the obtaining of an exact octave. Movement of the bridge to a quarter or fifth distance also modifies the instrument range.
|
