[Also in Division C3] A coating is produced by reacting a polyisocyanate with a hydroxyl-group-containing copolymer which consists of (a) from 1 to 35% by weight (based on the weight of the copolymer) of polymerised units of an unsaturated thioglycol ether having the general formula: in which R denotes a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a vinyl group, and (b) from 65 to 99% by weight (based on the weight of the copolymer) of polymerised units of at least one other copolymerisable ethylenically unsaturated monomer, the sum of (a) and (b) amounting to 100%. In the Examples rust free iron sheeting, and sheets of glass are coated.
