PURPOSE:To eliminate the irregularity of the quantity of scanning light with simple constitution by specifying the shape, array, etc., of lens element in the intermediate lens array among three plate-like lens arrays forming an optical system. CONSTITUTION:Lens elements 25 etc. in the intermediate relaying array 24 among three plate-like arrays forming an optical imaging system are each in a square shape slanting at 45 deg. and arrayed in two lines having the same pitch P and a shift (p) a half the pitch P. Therefore, the integral value of scanning light perpendicual to the array is equal at any position and the irregularity of the quantity of scanning light is eliminated by the simple constitution. In addition, even when the shape of each lens element is hexagonal, etc., the same result is obtained. |
