PURPOSE:Water ink providing water-resistant calligraphy and superior in the solution stability of dyestuff, which contains at least water-soluble dye, ampholytic surface active agent, water-soluble organic solvent and water. CONSTITUTION:Water ink containing at least about 0.5-15wt% water-soluble dye consisting of acid dye, direct dye or basic dye, about 0.6-9.0wt% ampholytic surface active agent, about 1'40wt% water-soluble organic solvent (e.g. ehtylene glycol or thiodiglycol) and about 40-85wt% water. The above composition pro- vides ink with superior water resistance and solution stability and is suitable for use in writing tools, recording equipment, stamps, jet printers and printing ink. |
