PURPOSE:To provide a hypotensor having prolonged drug action, by combining N-mercaptoacrylamino acid having hypotensive activity by the inhibiting activity to angiotensinIconverting enzyme, with probenecid having uric acid secretion promoting activity. CONSTITUTION:The objective hypotensor is prepared by compounding N-mercaptoacrylamino acid of formula (R<1> is H or lower alkyl; R<2> is H, lower alkyl, phenyl, aralkyl, imidazolylalkyl, indolylalkyl or together with R<1> form pyrrolidine ring, etc.; Z is 1-3C alkylene; R<3> is H or methyl; R<4> is H, acyl, etc.) and probenecid. The amounts of the compounds are 0.01-10mg/kg and 1-100mg/kg, respectively. The combined use of both compounds elongates the effective time at lower dose compared to the separat use of each compound. |
