PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive printing head good at heat transfer that does not require a protective film to be formed, by employing a heating resistor for a thermo-sensitive printing head a bulk resistant plate formed into a comb teeth shape with electrodes formed on both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:After the electrodes of Au or the like are formed on all over both the surface 12, 13 of the bulk resistant plate 11, it is cut along the lines AA', BB'..., and further cut into a comb shape having a lot of teeth, so that one of the electrodes 21 (shaded parts) in made into a common electrode having partly continued section, and the others 22 are divided into separate electrodes. The thus formed bulk resistor 20 is fitted into a recess of a support member 30 to produce a printing head. A lead-out conductor 31 is formed on the surface of the support member 30 to be connected with the electrode. Even when the printing head has been used, and the resistor has been worn to decrease the hight (d), the change of the resistance value is small, so that it can still be used. |
