<p>An angled mirror or periscope is made by first fixing the panes (8,9) to the casing (1), then fixing the mirrors (12,13) then filling the casing with a transparent casing material, such as casting resin, thermoplastics or duroplastics material or silicone, then hardening this filling core. Pref. after the panes have been fitted, their edges are sealed. Method is considerably simpler and less time consuming than earlier methods based upon the use of an acrylic glass or other glass block.</p> |
