A sole holding-down means (11) of a ski binding part is fitted on a screw pin (3) which is perpendicular to the ski. Attached between this sole holding-down means and the screw pin is a clutch (8), the one part (8b) of which is connected to the holding-down means and the other part (8a) of which is connected to the screw pin (3). When a predetermined torsional force on the two parts is exceeded the clutch permits the holding-down means to be swung out. By this means, on the one hand, the ski-shoe sole is prevented from jamming when the ski safety binding is released and, on the other hand, simple adjustment to different ski-shoe sole thicknesses is ensured. <IMAGE>
