<p>The arrangement is intended for preparinq, pref. compressible, refuse, e.g domestic or industrial waste in solid, pasty, or liquid form, for disposal at a dump or for dumping at sea. The refuse is pressed into bales and placed in an air-tight plastics foil (3), or rigid plastics, container (1), resistant to the waste material and to the environment of the dumping site. The waste may be packed under vacuum. The container may be rectangular, consisting of two parts (5,6) welded together (7). It may have strengthening members (12,20,21) and lifting eyes (14,15).</p> |
