PURPOSE:To detect the extent of resistance variation with >=99.9% conversion efficiency by using a honeycomb coil matched with the impedance of a bridge. CONSTITUTION:A nonmagnetic material shaft 9 is inserted into coaxial hollow different-diameter ferrite cores 2 and 3 and bowl-shaped ferrite cores 1 and 4, and the ferrite cores 1 and 4 are turned with a <=3mm. air gap to detect the extent of resistance variation. When a coil 5 having about 700OMEGA secondary impedance at the primary side 7 and secondary side 8 of an input side and at an input side while bridge impedance is 350OMEGA is inserted into the ferrite cores 1-4, outputs each have >=99.9% conversion efficiency for variation of one bridge side in response to a 3V and 5kHz input. This device is of a noncontacting type, so variations in resistance are detected with high efficiency without influences of noises due to contact resistances. |
