<p>The connecting device includes a block (3) which is received in one of the members to be joined one and a peg (9) with a hammer-like head which locates behind flanges (11) of the other member to be joined. The peg is acted on by a spring (7) and is located by a screw (5) which is received in a conical blind hole in the peg. The peg is provided with a pin (17) slidable in a groove (18) of a sleeve (8), the groove having a curved starting portion so that as the peg is drawn into position, it is rotated to locate its head behind the flanges (11) and draw the two members together.</p> |
