PURPOSE:To save man power of job for telop formation at a broadcast station and to quicken the news broadcasting by receiving a telop pattern signal of telop forming and transmission device from a transmission side through the use of normal communication line, at a telop reception and broadcasting device of the broadcast station. CONSTITUTION:A news agency having world wide news network is provided with a telop forming and transmission device A. With each device in the device A, a telop pattern signal of layout instructed with a telop original instruction manuals is formed and signal compression is made at a pattern signal transmission section 6 and transmitted to a normal communication line 9. This telop pattern signal is expanded and restored at an input signal conversion section 11 of a telop reception and broadcasting device B at the broadcast station side. After processing and confirming at each device, the signal is converted into a television signal at a video conversion section 16 and transmitted to a video signal transmission line 17. Thus, various jobs with the formation of telop can be saved at the broadcast station and the broadcasting of news is quickened. |
