<p>Binders water-dilutable upon neutralization with inorganic and/or organic acids comprising the reaction product of (A) a monoadduct of an N-hydroxyalkyloxazolidine and a diisocyanate with (B) a hydroxyl group containing polymer, the ratio of (A) and (B) adjusted to provide a final product with an amine value sufficient to provide water dilutability upon acid neutralization, and a process for the formation of the binders, is described. The binders, upon stoving, provide films with good resistance characteristics and have reduced losses.</p> |
