PURPOSE:To enable voice production of time announcement corresponding to indicated time by installing a correct time signal generating section in a mechanical clock, and providing a counter circuit in a voice synthesizing section and controlling an editing circuit of message element by the output. CONSTITUTION:A correct time signal generating section 7 is installed in a mechanical clock T that drives a time indicating section 6 by a synchronous motor 4 through reduction wheels 5. A counter circuit 16 for correct time counting is installed in a voice synthesizing section SY that edits message element by a correct time signal (c) and starts synthesizing time announcement message. An editing circuit 15 of the voice synthesizing section SY is controlled by output of the counter circuit 16, and time announcement message corresponding to the time indicated in a time indication section 6 is made by voice. The voice synthesizing section SY is made up of, for instance, an input section 26, an editing section 27 and a synthesizing section 28 as shown in the figure. |
