PURPOSE:To perform efficiently an electronic cutting by which a new picture is put into a tape to which a picture is already recorded, by distributing the heads for recording and reproducing of pictures for still and variable speed reproducing heads in such way that a helical erasion is secured. CONSTITUTION:For the electronic cutting, switches SW1, SW2, SW4 and SW5 are turned on with switches SW3 and SW6 turned off respectively. Then the record signals supplied from a record signal amplifier X3 are applied to heads A1 and A2 for general picture recording and reproducing. At the same time, the erasion signals from an erasion signal amplifier X4 are applied to still and variable speed reproducing heads B1 and B2. As a result, the picture recording is possible with the heads A1 and A2 while carrying out an helical erasion with the heads B1 and B2. |
