Emergency exit door safety opening mechanism - has protective adhesive coating on transparent rounded plastic sheath on handle

A security device for door closure mechanisms is esp. for panic fittings or mechanisms in fire doors and other emergency exits, which must be easily opened from inside. It comprises a partially or wholly transparent envelope (1), of foil-type plastics, covering the door knob or closure-activating handle (2). The handle has a curved protrusion (1a) and a flange-type peripheral edge (16). It is connectable with the door leaf (3) via a weakened zone. It has a layer of adhesive for attachment to the door leaf round the panic closure mechanism. This layer can be covered by a pull-off protective foil.
