PURPOSE:To diagnose the connection system of channels by substituting PCM data on a transmitting channel by PM and then by sending it to a receiving channel. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator OSC is provided which sends a PCM-modulated AC signal to a time-division multiplex highway. The PCM data output from the oscillator OSC is sent onto the specific time slot of a transmitting channel HWH through an SEL. This PCM data is substituted by PM and sent to a receiving channel HWH'. The data on the HWH' is sent to an HW1' through a DMPX and then converted by a DEC1 into an analog signal, which is supplied to an F11. The output of the OSC arrives at an REC via the route of an SEL, the PM, the DMPX, the DEC1, the F11, an H1, an F10, a COD1, an MPX, and the REC. This is monitored by a CNT to discriminate whether the channels are normal or not. |
