PURPOSE:To achieve the same feeling of stereo as the tones flowing out from speakers left, right and in front of the location, by locating didphragm plates on ear cup so that they face the front side of a face in front of both ears, when a stereo headphone is located on both ears. CONSTITUTION:When a stereo headphone is located on both ears, diaphragm plates 3, 3' of ear cups 2, 2' are located so that they are in front of pinnae 1, 1' and just before the face. Thus, the sound from the plates 3, 3' is reflected and diffracted on the pinnae 1, 1' and reach eardrums a, a' the same as the sound heard from remote front positions, then when the left and right sounds are synthesized in the brain, since the position of the sound source is always in existence between extension lines A, A' of the pinnae and the diaphragm plates by feeling, natural and spread rich stereo feeling can be obtained the same as sound flowing out from speakers located front, left and right. |
