The invention relates to a shoe with ventilation, in general footwear with ventilation, in which the outsole consists of deformable material and an air chamber is defined between the outsole and the insole. Orifices, through which air circulation is possible between the air chamber and the inside of the shoe, are formed in the insole. Air circulation is brought about in that, as a result of the weight of the shoe wearer, the outsole is deformed and air is thereby conveyed out of the air chamber into the inside of the shoe. When the weight of the shoe wearer no longer acts on the outsole, the outsole is restored to its original shape, with the result that air circulation from the inside of the shoe into the air chamber between the insole and the outsole takes place. <IMAGE>
