The safety braking for driven or towed vehicles consists of applying to at least one wheel set an automatic pressure varied force when the vehicle front lifts. This operates a hydraulic actuator below the springs or shock absorbers. The actuator (1) has a cylinder with piston (2). The fluid under pressure passes through a hole (3) controlled by a valve (4), worked by a stop (5), which is in turn pedal operated. This operation occurs simultaneously with a valve (6) being lifted to send pressurised fluid outside the piston via a hole (7) in the piston. A cap (9) adjusts the spring (8) pressure.
|
