Device for fastening cover material to the object which is to be covered. When an object is covered to protect against weather and wind, a number of attachment points are needed not only on the edge of the cover, but also in order to complete a tarpaulin in which the eyelet has come loose or is missing, or to be able to use the cover without pre-fitted eyelets.
