The pump has a tank-piston (1) which can move between a fixed tank (2) and a support (3) and able to execute a reciprocating motion between a high position above the support and another lower position. The tank-piston drops when filled with water from the static tank. The tank is placed near a source, such as a stream and the tank-piston can empty itself when low. It then rises automatically and is again filled. The tank piston is suspended on cables (11) and gullies (12) with counterweights (13). The tank base has stop valves (7) to fill the tank-piston.
