<p>The protection circuit for a vehicle used to carry valuables includes a control box situated in the protected safe to monitor the state of doors and locks. A battery supplying power to this is placed in an inaccessible part of the vehicle, and a warning signal panel is mounted on the vehicle dashboard. A locking system is arranged to prevent simultaneous opening of the van doors and the door of the safe, and also to automatically lock all the doors when the control box receives an alarm signal. Several alarm warning lights are mounted on the outside of the vehicle, and an audible alarm is arranged so that it cannot be disabled readily. When an alarm signal is received by the control box, the vehicle is immobilised, the electrical supply and fuel supply being cut off. A radio telephone link is included to transmit automatically an alarm message.</p> |
