PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sewn part structure of a skin cover wherein only the cleavage portion of a sewn part is simply forcibly broken by an air bag without needing special fastener structure. SOLUTION: Structure is formed such that a plurality of skin materials 5, 6, and 7 are sewn together to form a skin cover 4 to cover a seat back 3, and a cleavage portion A set at the given sewn part 8 of the skin cover 4 is forcibly broken by an air bag 13 jumping out to the outside. At the cleavage portion A of the given sewn part 8, the end parts of the skin material are sewn by means of a thread having a low tensile strength and at other portion B, the end parts of the skin material are sewn by means of a thread having a high tensile strength. Since only the cleavage portion A is sewn by means of the thread having a low tensile strength, the sewing strength of the cleavage portion A is weakened and simply forcibly broken by the air bag 13. |
