PURPOSE:To successively change spare devices to the arithmetic control devices restored from down and perform backup without requiring any extra changing work by using simple hardware and software. CONSTITUTION:Arithmetic control devices 8-11 are connected to the mutual arithmetic control devices or process input-output devices 13-15 via a transmission line or common bus 12. The devices 8-11 are so designed as to exchange the information of the devices 8-11 with each other when the serial numbers of the devices 8-11 are assigned and to access to any process input-output devices when the serial numbers of the devices 13-15 are assigned. Spare devices are successively and automatically changed over to another restored arithmetic control devices, whereby backup is accomplished. |
