PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety crawler type working vehicle free of risk that the vehicle tumbles when the vehicle goes down a step. SOLUTION: A crawler type working vehicle comprises a running body 11 having a crawler device and arranged as running freely, a boom 14 installed on the running body with possibility of revolving, boom hoisting, and expanding and contracting, and a working device 15 attached to the tip of the boom, wherein the center of gravity of the vehicle is positioned so as to meet the condition (h3-h2)>(h1-h2) when the vehicle runs on a stepped road surface in the direction of going down the step, where h1 is the height of the center of gravity G1 of the working vehicle over the under-surface of the step in the condition just before going down the step, h2 is the height of the center of gravity G2 of the vehicle immediately after grounding to the under-surface of the step, and h3 is the height of the center of gravity G3 when G2 of vehicle immediately after grounding is turned to the tumbling support line L round the crawler shaft on the side grounded to the under-surface of the step.
