PURPOSE:To miniaturize a recording device, manufacture it cheaply and accelerate its speed by a method wherein an ink layer formed on the surface of ain ink roller is heated and melted by heat waves, and melted ink is directly recorded on recording paper as dots. CONSTITUTION:A correcting roller 2 is made up in a pipy shape with a material having excellent heat-resisting property, a wire rod 3 is wound on the outer circumference and a heating element 4 is disposed into the roller. Ink is solidified at the normal temperature, and is melted suddenly at a fixed temperature or higher while having strong permeability to paper. Ink in an ink reservoir 5 is heated and melted by means of the correcting roller, and an ink layer 6 is built up on an outer circumferential surface of an ink roller 1. A beam 9 irradiates the ink layer, and the ink of minute sections is melted, and transcribed on recording paper 15 as dots. Thus, stable continuous recording can be conducted at high speed because scanning speed is accelerated and the ink layer is transcribed before ink is solidified. |
