PURPOSE:To obtain sure fixing method even for a frail divider plate by applying only a bending process to a side-wall flange, when the divider plate is engaged in a side-wall flange groove of a car fan coupling and fast fixed there by caulking. CONSTITUTION:A car fan coupling 1 is provided with cooling fins 2... and connecting bolt holes 3... on its circumference, and radiation notches 4... concentrically on its side. Besides, on a rim part 6 with an oil sump 5 inside, an L-ring-shaped side-wall flange 7 is circularly arranged to form a groove 8. At this stage, almost square gains 9 are formed at assigned positions on the flange 7, while a divider plate 10 to close the oil sump 5 is provided with integrated collars 12 whose configuration is adequate for insertion into above-said gains 9. For fast fixing this divider plate 10, its collars 12 are faced to gains 9 and inserted into the groove 8, and after they are turned as an arrow shows, the flange part 7 except collar parts 12 are processed to be bent for crushing the groove 8. |
