<p>The roller skate boot has its bearing on a plate and with elastic running rollers located on steerable axles below the plate. The roller skate is fitted with a brake shoe within the area of the front of the boot. The brake shoe can be adjusted to free wheel by varying the amount of pressure exerted on it. The brake shoe consists of a spring loaded ball (10) set in an anti-friction bearing, operated so that the ball with increasing load is set free by an anti friction bearing.</p> |
