PURPOSE:To receive broadcast waves of specific information regarding a weather forecast with one quartz oscillator, by enabling a common oscillating circuit to perform selectively side-overtone oscillating operation and fundamental-wave oscillating operation. CONSTITUTION:One terminal of quartz oscillator X1 is connected to connection point 7 of switching diode D6 for the 6th channel and coil L6. Socket SO is equipped with receiving terminals 9-11 composed of couples of conductive contact pieces 9a and 9b, 10a and 10b, and 11a and 11b divided facing mutually; one contact piece 9b of receiving terminal 9 is connected to another terminal of quartz oscillator X1 directly, and contact pieces 10b and 11b of receiving terminals 10 and 11 are also connected to the other terminal 8 of quartz oscillator X1 via capacitors C7 and C8 for oscillation frequency change-over respectively. The oscillation frequencies are changed over depending upon which one of receiving terminals 9, 10 and 11 of socket SO is inserted into with the shorting plug 12. |
