<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the turbulence of the air flow to be generated by the air ejected from an air outlet. <P>SOLUTION: A nozzle 16 for a fan assembly includes an air inlet 14, an annular air outlet 18, and an internal passage for supplying air from the air inlet to the air outlet 18. The internal passage is arranged between an annular inner wall 72 and an outer wall extending around the inner wall. The inner wall 72 demarcates at least in a partial manner a bore 78 in which the air from the outside of the nozzle 16 is sucked with the air ejected from the air outlet 18. The inner wall 72 is eccentric with respect to the outer wall so that the sectional area of the internal passage is changed around the bore 78. By changing the sectional area of the internal passage, the direction of the air to be ejected from the air outlet 18 can be controlled to reduce the turbulence of the air flow to be generated by the fan assembly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
