PURPOSE:To enable developing work without emitting a foul odor by adding a specified foul odor neutralizing agent to a developer for a diazo copying sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:When a diazo copying material is exposed and developed by applying a developer to the sensitive surface of the material, a foul odor neutralizing agent independent of a chemical reaction such as ''Airkem 501 or ''Airkem 198 '' of DAIICHI KOGYO SEIYAKU K.K. is added to the developer to adjust the pH of the developer to 9-12. The agent is a kind of vegetable essential oil and an odoriferous component having odoriferous intensity equal to or lower than that of a foul odor component to be removed. Thus, work with easy deodorization is carried out, and a dye image free from a peculiar copy odor is obtd. |
